Scum of the week award nomination goes to…

A thug who punched a frail 92-year-old in a row over a dog has escaped jail after a court heard that a prison term would disrupt his anger management course.

Adam Strangward, 27, was convicted of assaulting pensioner Bob Savory at a hearing last month and was told he faced prison for the attack, which left widower Mr Savory scared to leave his house, according to relatives.

But Strangward was handed a suspended sentence after a judge at Peterborough Magistrates Court heard that a custodial sentence would interrupt his progress on a nine-month anger management course.

Adam Strangward, 27…

Err… right… trash assaults an old man- quite incapable of fighting back and gets…nothing.

That’s nothing…

Zero…

A 92-year old…

The ‘justice’ system system scares me sometimes… it really does.

When you see the result of another case…

A woman who glassed a male clubber that smiled at her – and then blamed the attack on the fact she was sexually harassed at work – was spared jail by a judge.

Sheona Keith threw her glass at a man in a nightclub who she thought was ‘eyeing her up’, in an unprovoked attack which resulted in him needing hospital treatment.

Spared jail: Sheona Keith, 22, hurled her glass at a man she thought was 'eyeing her up'

 Sheona Keith, 22….

Words fail me…

If ever there was a group of people that NEED to be reformed it is JUDGES!!!

  1. Anger management course? How’s that going then? I wonder who is paying for that? Beyond a joke these sentences.
I worked at a magistrates court in a rough part of London in my probation on attachment. One of the female magistrates had a daughter that got into a drugs crowd and died of an overdose. If any defendant was up for any drug-related crime they absolutely crapped themselves if she was sitting.
Perhaps if a few more judges were touched by crime they would be a bit more realistic in their sentencing?

  2. Shij – Let’s be ‘fair’ to the young lady in your second story – the Telegraph reported that she had just been made redundant and was drinking to ‘drown her sorrows’ – which she wasn’t used to – and had forgotten she had the glass in her hand when she threw it…

    VERY reasonable.

    • Of course…

      It wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do…

      I mean…

If your dog bites someone and you just pat it on the head…

What would stop it from biting again I wonder?

Some judges just need to be removed…

  3. Google my name and read this rubbish. You idiots don’t know the facts. I lost my job and was not thinking clearly. Ok, I was looking the judge fancied me lmao because i was scared i would get jail, but i was not thinking clealy when i did it
