Panorama…

Well…

It’s what I thought it would be…

The lefty beeb having go…they just can’t deal with the fact we need the police more than we need them…

They whine about the misconduct procedure not being transparent-behind closed doors-officers allowed to retire…

Well… I knew this program would be making these ridiculous claims, so I did a little research…

I checked my force’s PSD page to check the latest results from panels…

About 75-25… Sackings verses punishments…not much evidence of a cover up…

Fact is, as Gadget et al remark on many occasions, we are the most regulated and judged public service of all…

For some, it appears, it’s not enough…

And another thing I noticed…

Now the riots are put to bed…it’s open season on us again…

Until they need us…

  1. “Until they need us” -.

See “Tommy” by Rudyard Kipling – even though it was written 120 years ago, about attitudes to the British Army, some things don’t change Especially the attitudes of the liberal minded, non-judgmental Guardiorama intelligensia.

  2. I remember years ago a piece of graffiti on a wall outside our nick that said “All coppers are bastards” and someone had added “Until you need them”. Our CC saw it on a visit and said to the guvnor, “I like that. Make sure it stays.”.

  3. Panorama is falling from grace pretty fast in my eyes. That piece of shit biased ‘dont blame the people’ one they did, the biased piece of crap on the banks, the one on scientology where instead of investigating they mostly just baited them, the benefit/begging fraud one which was pretty crass also.

It seems to have devolved from asking interesting questions and investigating the answers, to asking the questions that will lead them to the answer they want.

I’m sure i’ve said it before; why on earth would anyone want to be a copper with the current political, media and (sometimes) public attitude to a job that is there primarily to keep people safe? If it was the tax man I could get why, but i’m genuinely baffled at the hatred directed at not just the job but individual police officers.
